Na volne noze and Freelancing.eu back #EFWeek2020

#EFWeek2020 is building momentum and partnering with big names in Europe. The fifth edition of the largest crowdsourced event in Europe, dedicated to building and highlighting the freelance ecosystem, is going digital from October 16th – 25th, 2020.

#EFWeek is the largest annual celebration of independent work aimed at self-empowerment of the self-employed.  Freelancers are the catalysts of innovation and change the way we work and live daily. This 10-day event taking place across 11 European countries creates a powerful network driving towards a more inclusive, fair and new economy for all.

This year we are proud to share that na volné noze (meaning ‘freelance’ in Czech), one of the largest freelancing communities in Europe, and Freelancing.eu, an open directory of European freelancers, has aligned with #EFWeek. Encouraging freelancer-friendly businesses to host events and independent professionals to network by coming together to define the future of the gig economy.

“Na volné noze and Freelancing.eu is proud to support #EFWeek by promoting this event and rallying participation throughout our communities. It is important to bring people together from around Europe and abroad, to combat any disastrous effects that 2020 may have on independent professionals. A chance to celebrate and future-proof this growing sector is an opportunity not to be missed,” says Robert Vlach, founder of na volné noze.

Robert is dedicated to the well-being of freelancers and startups, and the author of national bestseller The Freelance Way. Robert is making a number of keynote speeches at freelancer gatherings in the Czech Republic ahead of the #EFWeek2020.

Freelancers, coworking spaces, and organizations of every type and size are encouraged to participate by organizing local events and offering special deals. By taking collective action and forming a uniformed voice, issues are tackled and solutions are offered to the millions who work independently.
